There’s nowhere to hide in 8 minutes.
No pacing for later. No “I’ll turn it on in the last round.” No skill advantage to lean on.
Just you. Three machines. And a clock that doesn’t care how you feel.
500m Ski.
500m Row.
30/24 Calorie Bike.
For time – 8:00 or less.
February’s challenge looked simple on paper.
But anyone who attempted it knows the truth:
It was a full-body, lungs-burning, legs-screaming sprint that demanded everything you had.
The SkiErg hit your lungs first. The rower tried to steal your rhythm. And the bike? The bike exposed whatever you had left.
There was no coasting. No hiding behind transitions. Just constant output from start to finish.
And this month, two athletes rose to the top.
🏆 Rhiannon Jordan took the win for the women at 5:43.
🏆 Tyler Collins claimed the top spot for the men at 4:47.
Both finishing under that 8:00 cap. Both proving what happens when strategy meets grit.
And of course, Coach Kenny, setting the pace to chase at 4:35… in Birkenstocks, no less.
But here’s what made this challenge special:
It wasn’t just who won.
It was how many of you came back for more.
You finished it once… and decided that wasn’t enough. You adjusted transitions. You dialed in your damper. You attacked it again.
That’s not just fitness.
That’s fortitude.
Because workouts like Acid Bath don’t reward talent nearly as much as they reward resolve.
They reward the athlete who can stay composed when their heart rate spikes. The one who can keep pushing when the legs start to fade. The one who refuses to let the clock dictate their belief.
Eight minutes doesn’t sound long.
Until you’re living inside of it.
February reminded us who we are:
We don’t back down from hard. We don’t avoid the burn. And apparently… we don’t mind doing it twice.
Or three times.
Or more.
To everyone who showed up, suffered well, and tested your limits — we’re proud of you.
Hard things don’t scare us — they shape us. On to March.
Let’s keep building 💪🔥
Have an amazing week. We’ll see you in the gym 💪🙏
