Last week was tough.
I felt drained. Exhausted. Unmotivated. Like no matter how hard I tried, nothing was going right. And that feeling — like I was failing — started to creep in. It was heavy. Frustrating. And honestly, discouraging.
But as I walked through the week, I started noticing something.
I wasn’t the only one feeling this way.
Conversations with friends, gym members, and clients echoed the same things I was feeling:
“I’m just so tired.”
“I can’t find the motivation lately.”
“Everything feels off.”
And that helped me remember something really important:
I’m not alone.
You’re not alone.
We’re all in this together.
Sometimes the weight we’re carrying feels personal, like we’re the only one struggling to keep it together — but the truth is, a lot of us are just trying to make it through the day with what we’ve got. And some seasons are heavier than others.
But here’s what I’m learning in these moments:
Rest isn’t failure.
Slowing down isn’t weakness.
Feeling low doesn’t mean you’ve lost your purpose — it means you need to reconnect with it.
When I took a step back, spent some time in prayer, got quiet before God, and gave myself grace, I started to hear Him remind me:
“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
We weren’t meant to carry it all alone. We weren’t created to grind nonstop. And we definitely weren’t meant to measure our worth by how productive or motivated we feel every single day.
So if you’re walking through a heavy week like I was, let this be your reminder:
You’re not failing.
You’re human.
And you’re not alone.
Keep showing up. Keep seeking God. Keep giving yourself grace.
You never know who else needs to see you do just that.
Have a great week!
