From finding and fixing pool leaks to home renovation projects to running our own business to being present for our kids to our Re:Generation program… our lives have been a nonstop go for a while now.
And that’s nothing new. It’s nothing nobody else has experienced. We are all juggling everything, all the time.
Before this year, I would handle it all on my own. I would stress, worry, and constantly wonder how we were going to manage it all. My sleep would suffer, my patience would vanish, and my relationship with Nick would feel the strain. Honestly, it wasn’t pretty.
But this year—through Re:Generation and by finding God more deeply—I’ve been reminded that while my hands may be full, I don’t have to hold it all together myself. I can’t hold it all together myself. I’ve had to truly let go of my need to control everything, to know what’s next, to handle it all in my own strength.
I’ve learned to let God have all the control. He always has been in control anyway.
And when the weight of everything starts to crash down on me, He has a way of guiding me back—through a quiet moment, a verse, a conversation, or an answered prayer—reminding me that He’s in control, not me.
The truth is, life is never going to slow down the way we hope. There will always be something on the to-do list, another project, another challenge. But when I shift my focus from “How will I get it all done?” to “Lord, how will You lead me through it?”—the weight feels lighter.
We don’t have to juggle perfectly. We just have to stay faithful, show up, and trust that He’s already gone before us. Because no matter how many balls we feel like we’re keeping in the air, God is the one who’s truly holding them all.
Give it to Him. His plan is always better than ours.
