Tell me if you can relate… if you’ve ever had these thoughts.
I take care of myself.
I eat well. I move my body. I protect my skin. I even follow doctor’s orders.
And yet… I still deal with things like varicose veins, floaters in my eyes, and skin marks that take forever to heal and fade (thanks childhood sun burns!).
For a while, I wondered—what am I doing wrong?
But here’s the truth: sometimes, you can do everything right and still face health issues. Why? Because we live in human bodies. Bodies that age. Bodies that carry genetics. Bodies that go through wear and tear.
It doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you’re human.
Just like in the gym: even the strongest athletes still get sore. They still rehab injuries. They still show up to do the work.
Taking care of your body was never about chasing perfection—it’s about stewardship. Honoring the body God gave you with consistency, not expecting it to be flawless.
So if you’re frustrated with the aches, the spots, or the reminders that time leaves behind… you’re not alone. Keep showing up. Keep caring for yourself. Keep trusting the process.
Because health isn’t about a perfect body—it’s about a faithful one. 🙏💪
We’ll see you in the gym!
Have a great week!
